Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and support robust data integration pipelines and financial data systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and ETL tool expertise, particularly in Informatica, along with a solid understanding of finance and insurance data processes. This role involves data quality management, performance tuning, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, underwriting, and reporting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into finance systems.

• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures in PostgreSQL.

• Monitor and troubleshoot daily/monthly ETL jobs; resolve job failures promptly.

• Collaborate with finance and insurance stakeholders to gather and clarify data requirements.

• Develop ad hoc reports and financial calculations as required by the business.

• Conduct data analysis to identify and resolve data integrity issues.

• Implement and maintain data validation and quality checks.

• Build complex financial logic using PostgreSQL procedures and ETL logic.

• Continuously monitor and improve ETL performance and database health.

• Maintain accurate documentation of ETL processes, data models, and business logic.

• Stay informed on industry best practices in data management and ETL.

Requirements

• Experience in the insurance industry with knowledge of underwriting data.

• Background in supporting finance systems.

• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica BDM.

• Strong SQL skills, with proficiency in DDL, DML, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Unix scripting and job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, ASG ZENA).

• Familiarity with reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects or Qlik.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectural best practices.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong documentation and requirement analysis capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) or Informatica Foundation Certifications (e.g., IDMC, CDCG, MDM).

• Experience with various database systems (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL); SQL Certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Python, or SAP BO.
