IT Project Manager (Telecom)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Project Management Office (PMO) disciplines, software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and enterprise project delivery.

Note: Candidates must be in Canada and have a PR/Citizenship status.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex IT and telecom projects on time, on-budget, and within defined scope and quality parameters.
• Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, including Scope of Work, timelines, risks, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Manage all PMO domains: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Change, Communication, Risk, Procurement, and Integration.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, including internal, client, and subcontractor resources.
• Track progress using Jira and other project tools to ensure accurate reporting and visibility.
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership to resolve conflicts, report progress, and ensure alignment with program roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Atleast 6 years of hands-on experience in IT Project Management.
• Mandatory experience in the telecommunications sector (Non-negotiable).
• Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and related tools.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and vendors.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
