Business Systems Analyst - GuideWire Policy Center

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst (BSA) with expertise in GuideWire Policy Center to join our dynamic project team. This role is integral to the successful planning and execution of projects—from ideation to delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders on project planning, prioritization, and design phases.
• Translate business problems into actionable technical requirements.
• Define, document, and manage project and sprint scope in alignment with business goals.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements, especially within IT and Digital projects.
• Facilitate working sessions, sprint reviews, and stakeholder updates across all organizational levels.
• Optimize sprint plans and delivery timelines, constantly reviewing for efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality and value expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks or blockers in a proactive manner.
• Provide strategic input on process and project improvements to increase delivery success.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of BSA experience within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Certification – required.
• Scrum Master experience – strong asset.
• Conversion project experience – preferred.
• 3+ years working in personal insurance domains.
• CIP designation – preferred, or strong domain knowledge in insurance.
